des DESCRIPTION - THE MARIA APARTMENT

The area surrounding the apartment:

This area is located in the heart of the city and is one of the most beautiful and best kept of Buenos Aires. The palatial architecture in its vicinity gives a good impression of the immense opulence of Buenos Aires ranch owners in the early 20th century and of their marked affinity to all things French. The beautiful San Martin square is surrounded by the widest variety of hotels and evening recreation along with newborn pubs and other evening amenities. It is at this square that the most distinguished part of the pedestrian Florida street starts. This is the downtown open air shopping mall, very popular among porteños and tourists. Galerías Pacífico is situated on this street with its magnificent domed ceilings by Berni, which includes the Borges Cultural Center. This area is famous for its prestigious art galleries, shopping malls, theaters, restaurants and cinemas and is very close Downtown and Puerto Madero neighbourhoods.

The apartment:

The Maria Apartment is located in an old building in the Downtown. The two blocks building is a nice, comfortable and quietly place. The living room is furnished with a styles sofas and a little table with two green chairs...perfect for the guest to come back to and relax with music after a long day of sightseeing or shopping in the magic city of Buenos Aires... The main bedroom comes with a queen size bed with a very nice bow window that open up and allow plenty of natural light. The second bedroom comes with a two single beds, and as the main bedroom, has a plenty of wardrobe space for guests' belongings. The bathroom is lovely decor with a wall and some details in blue. Bed linen and clean towels are provided. The Maria apartment has a fresh kitchen, fully equipped for your stay. Coffee machine, microwave and a kettle give the guest a feeling of home...Pots and pans, cutlery and plates are ready for use upon arrival. The guests can sit at the dining table an chairs which can be found in the kitchen and maybe taste a good wine... This apartment has a high ceilings, wonderful wooden floors and it's lovely decorated with wonderful stylized lamps and furniture. The Maria apartment is a very good choice for a comfortable and great stay in Buenos Aires.
